GRAND EVENTS AT THE THEATRE
Sociale Theatre, Storica Room and Foyer
1st-2nd-3rd MAY
Vinum 2009, is proposing a series of meetings, not to be missed, in the charming Sociale Theatre in Alba, linked with the grand wines of the territory. For three days, the Theatre’s foyer will host a very special tasting banquet dedicated to the grand cru of Barolo and Barbaresco, inviting the public to learn and discover the various areas of production and to seize the differences which make them strong and typical, and their relationship with the terroir. The event takes place with the collaboration of the Consortium of Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba Langhe and Roero, and is united with the important work carried out by the Consortium and institutions during these years, to promote and optimise the various cru.
They’ll be “live on stage”, or rather on scene, with some exclusive events.
The tasting on Friday 1st May is linked with the terroirs of Barolo, an in-depth study moment; continuing with two extraordinary verticals with local historic companies as the protagonists, in programme on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May.
The vertical tasting is a tempting event for any keen enthusiast – with entertainment clothes, culture and novelties. Gigi Brozzoni, director of the Veronelli Seminar, will be the producer that will guide the actors during each “performance”. Not to miss!
