IN-DEPTH STUDY: THE VERDICCHIO FROM JESI TO MATELICA

Verdicchio – a sensational variety, which donates wines with character, incisive, with an uneven profile. The terroir. More than ever, it extends between the sea and the Apennine mountains, and donates special emotions. The vine-dressers. Many capable of interpreting, risking, exciting. The wines. Hotter and explosive along Jesine’s hillsides, full of live, thinner in the closed Apennine valleys of Matelica.

Tasting of eight grand Verdicchio, guided by Giampaolo Gravina.

A PREVIEW of: ROERO 2005, THE NEBBIOLI from the LEFT-HAND BANK.

It’s known that the media uproar that interrupts each new vintage year, both of Barolo and of Barbaresco wines, hides behind it the complex shades that each harvest leaves in inheritance to the sensitive nebbiolo, and to the hands of those that have cultivated and transformed it. Also, for this reason, the tastings at the preview will allow enthusiasts to enter into confidence with the character of the new millesimal: to carefully be able to read the “remarks”…
Tasting of eight Roero wines, vintage 2005, guided by Francesco Falcone
